Later became known as Idumeans, and Herod, the Great. After 70 AD the Idumeans disappeared from history.

Divided Nation: 10 Tribes = called  “Israel”

 2 Tribes, Judah and Benjamin = called “Judah” (The Levites had residences in both “Israel” and “Judah”).

“Israel” taken Captive by Assyria in 722 BC. Assimilated with the Assyrians and the Samaritans. Never rose again.

“Judah” taken captive into Babylon in 605 BC for 70 years.

Remnant accepted Christ, His blood their identity.           

Religion of Pharisaism continues today in Judaism, without reference to genetic race.
