Satan’s Seat
Revelation 2:13: I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, [even] where satan’s seat [is]: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas [was] my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where satan dwelleth.
In the context, the phrases “satan’s seat” and “where satan dwells” mean: “in the synagogue of the unbelieving Jews who were persecuting the Christian‘s to the death.” See verses 2:9 and 3:9, “The synagogue of satan”. Antipas had been martyred there. It was considered a righteous act by the synagogues to kill Christians because they were thought to be heretics. (See John 16:2; Matthew 23:34.)
