2 Maccabees 2:8: “And then the Lord will disclose these things, and the glory of the Lord and the cloud will appear….”  Note on 2:8: “The glory and the cloud indicate God’s direct presence.”  (OAA p. 265.  When Antiochus invaded Palestine in 169 B.C.)
