CONTEXT FOR MEANING IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION

Note: The companion to these Bible Referents is found in Part 1 Appendix A: Word Studies, hereafter referred to as ‘WS’.  ‘WS’ indicates that there is a word study for that word.  For example, “WS ‘Apocalupsis’”, found at 1:1 below indicates that the study for ‘Apocalupsis’ will be found at 1:1 in “Word Studies”.

 

1:1. The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John:
